Created Issue: Code Review Policy problem in TFS 2008 [24781]

Dear All
I was applying the following given method but it was incomplete and I am unable to apply this method.

"This will not work in VS 2008 straight from the download. This was built with the version 8.0 objects for Team Foundation Server.
You can get this to work in VS 2008 using the following steps:
Download the source code
Open project and convert to VS 2008
Remove all references to the Team Foundation Server objects (Note:
There is a bug in the code that will allow a checkin without approval. This is caused by the boolean allCodeReviewsApproved being defaulted to true.
Change the default to false and add a line of code inside the "If ... Approved" block.)
Add new references for the Team Foundation Server objects
Build code
Overwrite old DLL with VS 2008 version "

Please let me know what will be the line of code which I will be used here also let me know the reference name which will be created in this project. If I remove existing references it is not compile and give alot of error in it.

Please let me know ASAP.

Commented Issue: error importing code review work item

When attempting to import the code review work item, I get the following error:

Workitem Type Import failed to make the requested rule changes.

I have made custom work items before, and I have created the Code Reviewers project group. I see that others have had this same issue. Any idea as to what is going on?

Another vote for this issue. I've seen suggestions to use TF Power Tools to import this. I'm not sure how that would make a difference. Any info would be most helpful. Thanks!

See the attached screen shot for the error. Is there a plan for an update for 2008? If not I can probably hack in the fix myself.

FYI...I fixed this by converted the solution over to 2008 and pointing to the 9.0 version of the TFS assemblies.

The most annoying thing is that witimport.exe /v reports no errors.

The Code Review process forces all linked Bugs to be closed before checking in. This assumes the Bugs are part of the review process. However in our group we create the new work item by right-clicking a task or bug in the check-in dialog and selected "Create a related item". We don't want to force this item to be closed. Possible Solutions: 1. Ignore first work item 2. Allow for teams to not enforce this rule in the policies 3. Ignore any work items that were linked at the time of creation

When evalutating check-in policies before the actual check-in the Code Review work item is automatically set to close. This should only happen after the check-in not during evaluation.
